The Passion of the Christ: A depiction of the last twelve hours in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, on the day of his crucifixion in Jerusalem. The story opens in the Garden of Olives where Jesus has gone to pray after the Last Supper. Betrayed by Judas Iscariot, the controversial Jesus--who has performed 'miracles' and has publicly announced that he is 'the Son of God'--is arrested and taken back within the city walls of Jerusalem. A very heart wrenching film, Mel Gibson did an excellent job. I can't help but cry every time I watch it. Definitely a must see film.


Nice portrayal of a good story - Great Gore fest as well...You'd think, though, in the 21st century we would be able to move away from this need to rely on myths and legend? Good watch
